Guerrero arrives in Athens ahead of Olympiacos transfer
With a transfer to Olympiacos imminent, Spanish forward Miguel Angel Guerrero has arrived in Athens and agreed upon a three-year contract with the Thrylos, passing his medical in the process.

The 27-year old, who spent the 2017/2018 season in La Liga with Leganes, is out of contract with the Spaniards and opted to seek a move away. Initially, both AEK and Olympiacos were rumoured to be interested in Guerrero’s services, but the striker eventually decided to join the Thrylos. On Tuesday, Guerrero travelled to Athens, passing his medical examinations and penning a three-year deal with Olympiacos which includes an annual salary of 400,000 euros.
At this moment in time, Guerrero is believed to be located in Olympiacos’ offices and the Piraeus club are expected to announce the transfer in the near future.
Previously in his career, Guerrero has only played in his native Spain, representing Albacete, Sporting Gijon and Leganes. During the past campaign, the forward participated in 22 La Liga matches, contributing with four goals and three assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is rated at 1.8 million.
