Historic Promotion for Lamia, Game Over for Aris
Lamia secured promotion to the Greek Superleague for the first time in the club’s history after a goalless draw away to Aris, leaving the Thessaloniki team mathematically out of the promotion fight.
Lamia will join Apollon Smyrnis in next year’s Greek Superleague after the Kyanolefki played to a goalless draw against Aris in Thessaloniki. Lamia sit six points clear of Aris with three games remaining, however both teams are scheduled to play Panthrakikos, who have been removed from the league, leaving two games for each team.
