Klonaridis returns to AEK
Viktor Klonaridis completed his return to AEK on Thursday signing a 3-year contract with the club.
Viktor Klonaridis will be a player of AEK until 2020 after signing a 3-year contract with the club. AEK acquired the player from Lens in a deal that closed at €200,000. The 25-year old was rumored to remain at Panathinaikos after playing with the Prasini on loan since January from the French club, however negotiations between Panathinaikos, Lens, and Klonaridis did not work out and the player decided to return to the first professional team of his career.
This will be Klonaridis’ second spell with the Kitrinomavri after he made 23 appearances from 2010-2012 (under Manolo Jimenez) while scoring five goals. He then joined Lille, but had a disappointing stay in France and returned to Greece for Panathinaikos from 2013-2016, making 74 appearances while scoring 14 goals. With the Prasini he won the Greek Cup in 2014 defeating PAOK in the Final.
He then returned to France again for Lens, but midway through the season he was loaned out to Panathinaikos where he played from January until the end of this season.
