Lazaros in Greece’s starting XI for Gibraltar
Michael Skibbe has announced Greece’s starting XI for the matchup against Gibraltar, giving Lazaros Christodoulopoulos the start on the left wing.
As expected, Skibbe proceeded to a couple of changes in Greece’s starting lineup for today’s qualifier against Gibraltar. Greece will stick to the 4-2-3-1 formation with Karnezis under the goalposts and Stafylidis, Papadopoulos (replaces suspended Manolas), Papastathopoulos, and Torosidis in front of him.
Tachtsidis will replace Tziolis in the midfield while Zeca will keep his place in the lineup. Lazaros Christodoulopoulos will get his first start in the qualifying campaign as he begins out on the left wing with his AEK teammate Mantalos on the other wing. Fortounis will be behind the lone striker, Kostas Mitroglou.
