Levadiakos maintained their remarkable unbeaten record in the SuperLeague on Saturday after coming from behind to earn a 1-1 home draw with PAS Giannina.

Watch the Greek SuperLeague derby between Olympiacos and PAOK LIVE from AGONAsport.com on Sunday, October 22nd. Details here!

In a closely-contested Matchday 8 encounter in Livadeia, Spanish forward Pedro Conte put the visitors ahead of the stroke of half-time, only to see his effort nullified by Levadiakos striker Petros Giakoumakis three minutes after the hour mark.

Thee scoring stopped there, although both teams had chances to win it as the match became more stretched in the closing minutes. PAS were left fuming in the 73rd minute when defender Konstantinos Mavropanos headed home a corner only to see the “goal” chalked off for a foul.

The outcome is that Levadiakos, usually a team struggling at the foot of the table, move up to third place in the table with 14 points from eight matches played, just a point behind leaders PAOK, while PAS leapfrogged Panathinaikos into eighth spot.

Kerkyra See Of Panaitolikos With Late Winner

Kerkyra 1 - 0 Panetolikos
Nunes 79'

Kerkyra claimed only their second SuperLeague win of the season on Saturday by beating Panaitolikos 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Portuguese midfielder Fabio Nunes.

Nunes struck 11 minutes from time to seal a vital three-point haul for Alekos Vosniadis’ struggling team, who had not won since a shock 1-0 success against Panathinaikos back in early September.

The result means Kerkyra move into ninth spot with nine points, knocking Panathinaikos down to 10th place in the process ahead of the Greens’ match later in the evening against Lamia.
