Levadiakos slip to second successive defeat

Levadiakos slipped to a second successive defeat on Sunday with Asteras Tripolis taking all three points with a 2-0 home win over their opponents from Livadeia, while Panaitolikos clinched a vital 3-1 win over Larissa.
Levadiakos, whose promising early-season form surprised many, see to have lost their way of late, with Tripolis taking full advantage to pick up the win courtesy of goals from captain Walter Iglesias (32) and striker Anastasios Douvikas (63).
The result means Levadiakos remain in eighth spot with 15 points, while Asteras climbed away from the lower reaches of the table and now have the same points total after 12 matches.

Meanwhile in Agrinio Panaitolikos battled hard to earn a 3-1 win over Larissa, a result which lifted Makis Chavos’ side out of the bottom two.
Romanian forward Vlad Morar gave the hosts the lead after 12 minutes, with Argentine midfielder Franco Mazurek doubling the advantage four minutes after the half-hour mark.
That put Panaitolikos firmly in control but Larissa came back in the second half with 31-year-old Brazilian midfielder Leozinho pulling a goal back four minutes after the half-time break.
The Vissini pushed for an equaliser but were then caught on the break in the second minute of added time with Brazilian midfielder Farley Vieira Rosa putting the icing on the cake for Panaitolikos with a third goal.
The win lifted Panaitolikos up to 12th place in the table on 13 points, while Larissa have the same number of points but slipped to 13th on goal difference
