French journalist Romain Gaudin tweeted earlier today “Leveque is to arrive in Greece on Monday and will likely sign a three year contract with PAOK.”
Leveque bid farewell to Guingamp after a seven year stay with the French team. While with Guingamp, Leveque played against PAOK in the 2014/15 Europa League group stages, celebrating victory on both occasions against the Dikefalos tou Vora. The 27-year old left back, who has suffered numerous injuries throughout his career, said that he is ready to face new challenges in his career and PAOK seems to be a suitable choice for him.
However, Michel and Ivic have some doubts regarding Leveque’s signing as the French left back has seen little playing time the past two seasons. This year he made only 6 appearances with Guingamp and 15 the season before.
If the two men look past these doubts Leveque is expected to sign after the conclusion of the playoffs.
