Mak ready for big return to PAOK
All looks as if Robert Mak will be making a return to PAOK on a one-year loan deal from Zenit.
According to FORZA, Zenit and PAOK have come to an agreement for Mak’s return to Thessaloniki. The Slovakian international will join the Dikefalos tou Vora on a one year loan deal from the Russian side which will include a €2 million buyout clause if PAOK wish to sign the player in a permanent move at the end of next season.
Mak has already expressed his desire to return to PAOK where he was not only a star, but also a fan favorite. In the coming days, the strike is expected to leave pre-season training with Zenit and arrive in Thessaloniki to sign his new contract.
After PAOK finalize the deal with Robert Mak, the club will look to sign a starting goalkeeper for the upcoming season after Glykos' injury at the end of last season. Mexico's Guillermo Ochoa is currently at the top of the list, although his case seems a difficult one and developmets are expected now that the Confederations Cup has come to an end.
