Manolas traveling to Russia to sign with Zenit
According to Sky Italia, Kostas Manolas will travel to Saint Petersburg tomorrow to finalize his deal with Zenit.
Kostas Manolas will travel to Russia tomorrow to complete his historic move to Zenit Saint Petersburg from Roma. The Greek defender has already agreed to a golden contract with the Russian side and the two teams have agreed to a €35 million transfer fee (plus bonuses) for Manolas’ move.
Manolas will travel along with his teammate Paredes to Zenit in a package deal between the two clubs. Tomorrow, the two men will undergo the necessary medical tests and if all goes according to plan, they will sign their new contracts. Manolas will put pen to paper to a 4-year deal with annual earnings of €4 million, a big boost from his mere €1.5 million a year he was receiving at Roma.
The €35 million deal will be a historic one as it will be the highest move involving a Greek player.
