Marko Livaja named Superleague MVP for 4th consecutive week
Marko Livaja was named the Greek SuperLeague’s matchday 13 MVP, receiving this honor for a fourth consecutive week.
Receiving the Superleague’s MVP of the week award has become a routine for AEK’s Marko Livaja after receiving the honor for matchday 13. The Croatian striker, who has been in exceptional form as of late, won the award for a FOURTH week running.
Livaja was named this week’s MVP after a great performance against Levadiakos, helping AEK to a 0:2 victory in Livadeia. Livaja scored AEK’s opening goal with a cheeky effort and Araujo doubled their lead slotting in a rebound from a closed-ranged effort from Livaja.
Livaja beat out Atromitos’ Vasilakakis in the voting (33% vs 25%) for the MVP honors, however the Greek player took home the “Goal of the Week” award with his stellar scissors kick against Platanias.
