Omonoia continued with their third win in a row (2:3), after a dramatic end at the Makareio stadium against local rivals Olympiakos. The Prasinoi got off to an early two goal lead with Rafa Lopez and Antonia and all looked to be an easy afternoon for the traveling side. But, Olympiakos came close to shocking their opponents as Kapartis scored in the 82nd minute and Polizzi equalized in the 90th minute to bring things even within eight minutes. However, deep into stoppage time, Derbyshire saved the day for the visitors with his tenth goal of the season, giving Omonoia the all-important three points. With this result, Omonoia move into 6th place, while Olympiakos are now 11th just three points clear of the relegation zone.

Ermis recorded an important 2:0 home win over Pafos. Goals from Tsoumou and Emeghara in each half respectively, gave the hosts all three points as the visitors were unable to chalk up a response in the 90 minutes of play. The win gives Ermis some breathing room, as they sit in 10th place just three points behind 8th placed Pafos, who have been struggling lately, despite the good spell they enjoyed earlier on in the season.

Apollon were held to a disappointing goalless draw on the road by Salamina. The visitors put on a continuous siege on their opposition, however the Slovakian custodian, Veselovksy, held onto the clean sheet with the help of his stubborn defense. It was a missed opportunity for Apollon to pull within two points of the leaders, Anorthosis while Salamina will be content with the point against one of the league's best sides. However the hosts moved down to 13th place due to Aris' weekend win and are currently in the relegation zone.

It was a pleasant evening in Limassol for AEL as they cruised past last placed Ethnikos with a 3:0 scoreline. Soares opened the scoring in the first half to give the hosts a 1:0 lead before second half goals from Lafrance and Silva sealed the victory for AEL. The Limassol side remain in the top four as Ethnikos are currently bottom of the table and bound for relegation.

APOEL moved within one point of top spot after a 4-0 thrashing of Alki. The defending champions came determined to finish the game off early as Ebecilio, Morais, Sallai and De Camargo each netted a goal in the opening 45 minutes. Despite the loss, Alki continue to sit in a comfortable position in 9th place, six points clear of 12th placed Aris.

Aris grabbed a late winner over Doxa to regenerate their hopes in the fight to avoid relegation. Youssef’s header in the 89th minute separated the sides at the final whistle, giving the hosts a 1:0 victory. Doxa retrieved to 7th spot, two points behind Omonoia, as Aris moved into 12th place, a point above Salamina.
