Heading into the final round of regular season fixtures in the EuroLeague, both Olympiacos and Panathinaikos have already clinched a playoff berth for quite some time.

Despite owning a postseason ticket, there is still plenty to be decided for both Greek clubs as results in and out-of-town could go a long way in determining the playoff picture.

Olympiacos host Zalgiris Kaunas at the Peace & Friendship Stadium with home advantage already guaranteed, though the Piraeus giants could face a variety of opponents in the playoffs – including Panathinaikos – depending on the final round of fixtures.

Panathinaikos, meanwhile, still have a chance at home court advantage in the playoffs; however, depending on their result against AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan, the Trifylli also have a real possibility have finishing as low as sixth.

OLYMPIACOS

B) they lose to Zalgiris and Real Madrid defeat Brose Bamberg.

… will finish FOURTH if…
A) they lose to Zalgiris Kaunas, Brose beat Real Madrid, and Panathinaikos beat Milan.

PANATHINAIKOS

… will finish FIFTH if…
A) Real Madrid beat Brose.

B) they beat Milan, Real Madrid lose to Brose, and Olympiacos lose to Zalgiris. In this instance, Real Madrid, Panathinaikos, and Zalgiris will finish tied in the standings with the tiebreaker locked in that order.

… will finish SIXTH if…
A) they lose to Milan, Real Madrid beat Brose, and Olympiacos lose to Zalgiris. In this instance, Panathinaikos and Zalgiris would finish level at 18-12 but the Lithuanian side holds the tiebreaker after beating Panathinaikos in Lithuania and losing to Panathinaikos in overtime. This scenario would also lead to an Olympiacos-Panathinaikos playoff series.
