Olympiacos reach deal for Emenike, Ofoe close to Krasnodar
Turkish sources insist that Emenike’s transfer to Olympiacos is a done deal while Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe is close to a move with Russian side, Krasnodar.
According to multiple sources, Olympiacos and Fenerbahce have reached a deal for Emmanuel Emenike rumored to be at €2.5 million. The Nigerian striker will arrive in Greece today in order to undergo the necessary medical tests and sign his new contract with the Erythrolefki at annual earnings close to €2 million. However, Olympiacos have kept a low profile about the developments, having yet to release an official statement in hopes of avoiding another last minute bust, as in the case of Bokani.
Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, who has been amongst Olympiacos’ top signing targets this summer is likely going to continue his career in Russia with Krasnodar. The Russian club has come to a deal with Legia Warsaw for the Belgian midfielder, at an astonishing €3.5 million, while Olympiacos were offering close to €2.5 million. Ofoe is expected to sign with Krasnodar tomorrow and join the team in pre-season training.
Apart from Ofoe, two other signing targets have been ruled out for the Erythrolefki. According to “dhnet.com” Bram Nuytinck, who is Hasi’s player of choice to reinforce the team’s defensive line, has turned down an offer from Olympiacos while Ivan Obradovic, whose name has also been linked to Olympiacos following Hasi’s arrival, is not for sale according to Anderlecht’s sources.
Olympiacos are in constant communication with Granada and Mehdi Carcela for the player’s move to Piraeus and talks are in the final stages. Finally, the Superleague champions would like to sign Guillaume Gillet from Nantes although negotiations between the two clubs are in the early stage as Nantes has stated that the player is not for sale.
