In this year’s UEFA Champions League group stages, Olympiacos will have a mountain to climb as they matchup against Barcelona, Juventus, and Sporting Lisbon. Olympiacos’ first match will be on Tuesday, September 12th when they host Sporting Lisbon at the Karaiskakis stadium.
Earlier this week, the Erythrolefki announced their 22-man UEFA roster for the upcoming Champions League matches. Coach Besnik Hasi surprisingly left out striker Karim Ansarifard and left back Hrvoje Milic in addition to the expected Andre Martins and Cisse. Included on the list was deadline day signing Bjorn Engels and Uros Djurdjevic, who signed from Partizan in late August. In addition to the 22-man roster, three B-squad players were also included.
