PAOK Go Into Playoffs With Advantage
PAOK will go into this year’s Superleague Playoffs with an advantage after the conclusion of the year’s regular season.
AEK’s draw in Giannina to PAS and Panionios’ loss at home to Levadiakos sat nicely for PAOK as the Dikefalos tou Vora will begin this year’s Greek Superleague playoffs with 2 points while AEK and Panionios begin with zero points. Additionally, Panathinaikos were given a helping hand on the final matchday by AEK’s and Panionios’ results as the Prasini begin with one point in the playoffs.
The winner of the Superleague playoffs will play in next year’s UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds while the remaining three teams will play in next year’s UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds,
PAOK 61 pts - 2 pts
Panathinaikos 57 pts - 1 point
AEK 53 pts - 0 pts
Panionios 52 pts - 0 pts
