At just 20-year-old, Koniaris was one of the youngest in the competition, but he didn’t let his age impact his nerves as he finished the highest scorer in both rounds to capture first place honors.

Koniaris directly qualified for the final as he notched 17 points in the opening round, while Panionios Vaggelis Sakellariou edged Kymis’ Thad McFadden in a play-off after the pair both posted 16 points in the first round.

Koniaris followed up his strong shooting in the first round as he defeated Panionios’ Vaggelis Sakellariou in the final by a score of 20-14.

Sunday’s triumph marked the second-time in just 24 hours that Koniaris managed to win a 3-Point contest after the PAOK starlet took the honors in the “youth” 3-Point contest on Saturday.
