Gonzalo Rodriguez: The Argentine stopper’s case seems a difficult one, however Olympiacos will execute all options to bring the former Fiorentina captain to the Limani. The Erythrolefki have made a very tempting offer to the 33-year old, offering him a contract with annual earnings over €1 Million. The player’s manager confirmed that they are in communication with the Peiraiotes, although the two sides have not reached a deal. The player himself has stated that he is currently enjoying his vacation in Argentina and will take his time in order to evaluate all his offers and decide the next stop in his career. Apart from Olympiacos, many teams have shown interest in the player; among them Argentine club Racing Club who has also made an offer to Rodriguez along with Italian side Lazio.

Aderlan Santos: Since Rodriguez is taking his sweet time to respond to Olympiacos’ offer, Olympiacos have already weighed alternative options. Aderlan Santos has been a consistent name in the Erythrolefki’s reports this year as well as in last year’s gossip when Marco Silva was interested in the player.

Steven Defour: Steven Defour’s case is also a difficult one, as Burnley price the player quite high as €6 Million, let alone his expensive contract. However, his case is still open and he could possibly make a move to Piraeus seeing that Hasi is now in charge. Olympiacos will likely try to bring Defour on a loan deal rather than a permanent transfer.

Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe: The 28-year old midfielder, who was named last season’s MVP in the Polish Ekstraklasa, is an alternative option if negotiations with Defour fail. Olympiacos are expected to contact the player within the following week as the season in Poland recently ended last Sunday.

Vladimir Weiss: Vladimir Weiss’ case seems more possible than Defour’s, yet it is in no way regarded as easy. The Slovakian wing forward could make his return to Olympiacos, but in order for that to happen, he has to lower his demands. At his current club, Al-Gharafa, Weiss has a contract of €3.5 Million per year, whereas the Peiraiotes can only offer him half that amount. Sources mention that Weiss wants to make a return to Europe and play in either the Champions League or the Europa League, something that Olympiacos can offer.

Cristian Tello: The Spanish wing forward was on loan at Fiorentina from Barcelona for the last 1.5 years. His rights belong to Barcelona, although he is clearly not in Ernesto Valverde’s plans for the new season. Although his transfer cost is high (€8 Million), reports from Spain insist that Olympiacos will be the next stop in his career.

Felipe Mora: Although sources connected Olympiacos to the Chilean striker, the Erythrolefki would certainly prefer a more complete and experienced player. It is evident that gossip has ceased lately regarding Mora and Olympiacos and as of now the Greek Champions do not seem keen on signing the 23 year old. The latest striker to appear on the Olympiacos rumor mill is Lazio’s Filip Dordevic.

Konstantinos Laifis: Olympiacos are set on bringing the 24-year old defender back to the team, despite having another year on his loan deal with Standard Liege. However, the Belgian club want to keep the player and rumours mention that they are planning to activate the €1.8 Million buyout clause.

Oscar Cardozo: Cardozo’s manager, Pedro Aldave, recently talked about the future of his client and stated that one thing is certain, he is leaving Olympiacos. The Paraguayan striker will likely return to his home country.
