Olympiacos took their first step to this year’s Greek Volley League title, defeating PAOK 3-0 set in game one of the playoff finals.
With Agamez putting on yet another dominating performance for Olympiacos, the Colombian led his side to a rather easy 3-0 set win over PAOK in game 1 of the Greek Volley League Playoff Finals. The 32-year old was by far the best player on the night for the hosts, who took a step towards this year’s League Title.
A late 7-1 run in the first set gave Olympiacos the early 1-0 match lead as they won the first set 25-19. The second set was well balanced between the two teams before a late push from the Erythrolefki gave them full control of the match, winning the set 25-22 and doubling their advantage in the match. PAOK were clearly troubled by the deficit and Olympiacos comfortably took the final set 25-16, to win the match 3-0.
The two teams will meet again on Friday, April 28th in Thessaloniki for game 2 of the best of 5 series.
