Unstoppable Karelis scores third goal in 2018
Greek forward Nikolaos Karelis simply can’t stop scoring, registering his third marker in as many games in the Jupiler League for Genk.
The 26-year old has started 2018 in fantastic fashion, finding the back of the net in three consecutive appearances with Genk in the Belgian league. On Friday evening, Karelis did indeed score his fourth marker of the campaign, grabbing Genk’s third goal in the large 4:0 thrashing of Antwerp at home. Lurking inside the penalty box, Karelis escaped the attentions of his marker, stretching out his right leg to tap a teasing cross beyond the goalkeeper’s despairing dive on 85 minutes. Karelis played the entirety of Genk’s 4:0 triumph against ten-man Antwerp.
