Vellios Rumored to Return to Greece for Olympiacos
According to the newspaper “Goal” Apostolos Vellios could make a move to Olympiacos this summer.
According to the Greek newspaper “Goal,” Apostolos Vellios’ move to Olympiacos is getting all the more closer as the Erythrolefki search to enhance their attacking line. The Greek forward has registered 31 appearances and 6 goals with Nottingham Forest this season in the English Championship.
It is not the first time that Olympiacos have shown interest in Apostolos Vellios, as rumours connected the player to Piraeus before leaving Iraklis last season. The current Superleague champions are in need of players for their attacking lines after Ideye’s transfer to Tianjin Teda in January. Karim Ansarifard, who was signed to replace Ideye, has not fulfilled Olympiacos’ expectations while Oscar Cardozo is unlikely to remain with the team.
