Aris took advantage of another slip up from Apollon Smyrnis (drew Agrotikos Asteras 0-0) by defeating Panelefsiniakos 1-3 and joining Apollon atop the Football League standings. Kissamikos came back to defeat Sparti 2-1 while Anagennisi Karditsas was a big winner over Aiginiakos 0-3.

Aris fell behind in the 14th minute to Panelefsiniakos, but was able to come back and defeat the team from Elefsina who remains without a point after 5 games. Two goals form Neto and Bargan gave Aris the 1-2 lead before the break and in the 70th minute Milunovic sealed his side’s 1-3 victory. The win puts Aris on ten points along with Apollon Smyrnis atop the Football League Standings. Highlights can be found here...

Apollon Smyrnis played to a second consecutive goalless draw after their match with Agrotikos Asteras. The Elafra Taxiarchia had a man advantage from the 62nd minute (Oungialidis was sent off with a second yellow card), but could not capitalize as Aris joined them atop the standings with 11-points. Agrotikos Asteras will happy with today’s result in a difficult away fixture as they continue their good start to the season, sitting in second place with 10 points. 

Kissamikos pulled off the most impressive result of the day by coming back to defeat Sparti 2-1. The Lakones  took the lead early in the second half with Iliopoulos’ goal, but Kissamikos had in store a dramatic finale to the match. In the 85th minute, Milic scored from the penalty spot to pull level (Ikonomopoulos was sent off for Sparti) and with only two minutes remaining, the hosts pulled off the impressive comeback when Mantzis scored for the Cretan side. Sparti finished the game with nine men after Bountopoulos was sent off. Sparti remain on nine points while Kissamikos move up to four points.

Anagennisi Karditsas celebrated their first win of the season after blowing out Aiginiakos 0-3. The opening goal came in the first minute of play through Tsiloulis and the same player doubled his side’s lead in the 74th minute. A great night for Karditsa was capped off with Blendi’s goal in the 81st minute.
