GREEK NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM:Greece were drawn into League C/Group B of the new UEFA Nations League, a tournament which will begin in September 2018. The Ethniki Omada will face Hungary, Finland and Estonia in the competition, with the first match taking place against the Estonians in Tallinn.

Despite the failure to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the German manager was credited with turning the team’s fortunes around after a disastrous two years.
GREEK FOOTBALL LEAGUE: It was a special day in Heraklion, as former OFI Crete head coach Eugene Gerards’ hugely successful career with the Greek club was celebrated in style. Plenty of Greek football legends came together in Crete, honouring Gerards’ incredible achievements with OFI which saw him stay at the helm for 15 years between 1985 and 2000.
GREEK NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM: According to SDNA.gr a proposal has been put forth by a member of the Greek Football Federation (EPO) in order for a new training center to be built for the Greek national team. Knostantinos Vrakas has tabled a proposition for a new state-of-the-art football facility to be created to house the national side.
