After today’s losses to PAOK and Atromitos, Kalloni and Panthrakikos have been mathematically relegated to the Football League for next season. The two have been at the bottom of the table since early in the season and now look to next season to regain promotion to the SuperLeague. In other action Panathinaikos and Olympiacos won their respective matches while AEK was handed a shocking defeat by Panetolikos.
As the SuperLeague comes to a close the final standings are slowly coming together. After Olympiacos clinched the SuperLeague title in late February and today’s mathematical relegation of Kalloni and Panthrakikos the only interest remaining in the league are the two final playoff spots. Currently, AEK and Panathinaikos have already clinched their place in the playoffs while many teams are still alive for a playoff spot. Three matchdays remain until the end of the regular season of the SuperLeague.
