Unbelievable things happening in the A1 Basket League Playoffs! In game 2 of the series between Kifisia-Aris, the Thessalonikiotes were victorious 103-108 in double overtime. In the final seconds of the first overtime, Aris was down by two and went to the free throw line where they missed the second shot. Kifisia got the rebound and Marshall accidentally scored a lay-up in his own basket, sending the game into another overtime. Aris prevailed, winning its second game of the series and progressing to the semi-finals.

Kifisia had a great start to the game with a 17-point lead. Aris turned the game around in the second half and took the lead in the fourth quarter. The game went into overtime where Kifisia held a two-point lead. Aris was at the free-throw line with 5 seconds remaining when the unbelievable happened. Kifisia’s Marshall scored a lay-up in his own basket, sending the game into a second overtime. Kifisia seemed to be shaken up, leaving Aris with the win and their second win of the series. This secures their place in the semi-finals of the playoffs and will play the winner of the Panathinaikos-Kolossos Rhodou series.
