Georgios Printezis’ injury will cause a huge absence for the Greek National Basketball Team in the Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament. The injury he sustained with Olympiacos in the Greek Basket League Finals will keep the Greek forward out for one month. In an interview with Syros-sports.gr, Printezis stated that the National Team coach, Fotis Katsikaris, is aware of his absence and was fortunate that Katsikaris was understanding of the situation. Printezis mentioned that he needs over a month for his leg to rest and that he will spend time with his mother, who lost her husband a few weeks ago.
