Iraklis 2 - 1 PAS Giannina
Perrone 14'
Angelopoulos 88'
Kozoronis 7'

Iraklis notched their first win of the season in dramatic fashion beating PAS Giannina 2-1. A goal two minutes from the end saw Savvas Pantelidis' side grab the victory over a previously impressive PAS Giannina. The win gives hope to Iraklis as they struggle to avoid relegation.

Giannina opened the scoring 7 minutes in with a goal from star Chrysovalantis Kozoronis.  Iraklis fought back and equalized just 7 minutes later with Emanuel Perrone supplying the finish.

As the second half wore on, Iraklis were controlling the play and creating better scoring chances. But as time wore on it looked as though they'd have to settle for a mere point once again. However, 2 minutes from time came the moment that Iraklis supporters have been waiting for all season. It was then when Vasilis Angelopoulos popped up to score the game winner as Iraklis went up for a crucial win.

The win does not lift Iraklis off last place in the standings but it will give the club belief that they can salvage what has been a difficult start to the season. Giannina's setback drops them to third in the standings as they remain on 17 points. Next weekend, Iraklis will play Panetolikos in Agrino while PAS Giannina will host the league leaders Olympiacos.
