Shooting - Women's 25m Pistol, FINAL: Anna Korakaki
***Anna Korakaki was the highlight of the day for Greece at the Rio 2016 Olympics. After winning the bronze medal in the 10 m pistol event, Korakaki was crowned the Olympic Champion in the Women's 25 m Pistol Event! Full story here...

Archery - Women's Individual, Round of 64: Evangelia Psarra
***Evangelia Psarras was eliminated in the Women's Archery Individual competition after losing  7-3 to Kaori Kawanaka from Japan. 

Rowing – Women’s Double Sculls, Semi-final A: S. Asoumanaki & A. Nikolaidou
***Asoumanaki and Nikolaidou finished first in their semi-final race of the Women's Double Sculls event to advance to the final. After a great showing today, they will be one of the main contenders for a medal. Full story here... 

Judo – Men’s 81kg, Round of 32: Roman Moustopoulos
***Moustopoulos was surprisingly defeated by Juan Diego Turcios from El Salvador in the Round of 32 of the Men's 81kg Judo event. The Greek athlete, who was ranked 10th coming into the Olympics, lost by Ippon and was eliminated from the competition.

Rowing – Men’s Coxless Lightweight Four, Semi-final 2: Greece
***Greece's Men's Lightweight Four team advanced to the events final, capping off a great day for the Greek rowing teams. They will compete with five other teams for a medal in Thursday's final. Full story here...

Sailing – Men’s RSX, Preliminary Races 4-6: Byron Kokkalanis
***Kokkalanis fell one place after races 4-6 in the qualifying round and is currently ranked 4th.

Sailing – Women's RSX, Preliminary Races 4-6: Angeliki Skarlatou
***Skarlatou fell three places after races 4-6 in the qualifying round and is currently ranked 15th.

Sailing – Men’s Finn, Preliminary Races 1-2: Ioannis Mitakis
***Mitakis made his debut in the event, finishing in 12th place after the first race while not finishing the 2nd race. He is currently ranked 18th overall with 36 points.

 Swimming – Men’s 100m Freestyle, Heat 5: Kristian Gkolomeev
***Despite breaking the Greek record, Gkolomeev failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition. The Greek athlete finished his heat in 48.68 seconds (0.10 away from qualification) and ranked 20th overall. He will now turn his attention to the Men's 50m freestyle event.

 Swimming – Men’s 200m Breaststroke, Heat 2: Dimitris Koulouris
***Koulouris failed to advance to the quarter-finals, finishing 27th overall.

 Swimming – Men’s 200m Breaststroke, Heat 3: Panagiotis Samilidis
***Samilidis also competed with Koulouris and finished 35th overall and bowed out of the competition.
