Panetolikos handed Atromitos their second defeat of the season earning a 0-2 victory at the Peristeri Stadium. In Kerkyra, the newly promoted sides, Kerkyra and Larissa, faced off with the hosts defeating Larissa 2-0.

Panetolikos shocked the home side with an early goal in the 12th minute when Rodrigues turned in a cross from the right side. The hosts almost pulled level 10 minutes later, but Baga’s goal was called back for offsides. The pace of the game was slow, but both teams missed great opportunities to score in the 34th and 35th minutes with Rodrigues and Le Tallec, respectively. At the begining of the second half, Tomane’s shot grazed the right post, failing to double Panetolikos’ lead. In the 60th minute, Le Tallec once again had the the opportunity to pull Atromitos level, but his shot from inside the penalty area went over the bar. The hosts could not find the equalizer in the 88th minute with Papadopoulos and Panetolikos sealed all three points in stoppage time with Wanda’s counter-attack goal.

Today’s win is Panetolikos’ first of the season while Atromitos sit on zero points from two games. After today's result, Trianos Dellas’ position as manager of the club is up in the air. Next week, Panetolikos will host Panathinaikos while Atromitos will look for their first points at home to Asteras Tripolis.

Kerkyra showed much improvement in today’s match against Larissa from their season opening defeat to Platanias. The hosts dominated the first half, creating three great chances to take the lead with Doualla and Thuram (twice) and in the 24th minute the breakthrough came with Thuram. The cross came in from the left side and Thurman, with two efforts found the back of the net. After the goal, Larissa began to pressure Kerkyra in hopes of an equalizer but it was the hosts who doubled their lead when Epstein was played in on goal by Zorbas, giving Kerkyra the two-goal advantage. 

Larissa showed signs of improvement in the second half, but could not create the opportunity that would bring them back into the game. On the other end, Kerkyra could not keep up their pressure from the first half and held onto their 2-0 lead at the final whistle.

With today’s result, Kerkyra gets their first win and points of the season. They will travel to Levadiakos for Matchday 5 as Larissa host Olympiacos.
