|Kerkyra||1 - 1||Atromitos|
|Kontos 5'||le Tallec 9'|
A goal for Kerkyra and Atromitos in the opening 10 minutes saw the two teams end the match in a 1-1 draw. Besides the two goals, neither team created a classical chance for a winner in the remaining 80 minutes of play. Thuram was sent off in the 80th minute for Kerkyra.
With the exception of the opening ten minutes, today's match between Kerkyra and Atromitos will be quickly forgotten. The game got off to a great start for the hosts as Kontos opened the scoring in the 5th minute of play with his effort from close range. The celebrations were quickly cut short when le Tallec put home a great team buildup with his back-heel goal four minutes later.
The two goals in the opening 10 minutes is all the match wrote with neither team creating a notable chance on target in the remaining 80 minutes of play. They both played conservatively as they both sat back without taking a risk for the go-ahead goal. In the 80th minute, Thuram was sent off after a dangerous tackle on Platellas which caused a small scuffle between the two teams, where Thuram also hit Lazaridis and Kyvrakidis, resulting in a straight red card. The visitors did not take advantage of the extra man in the final 10 minutes with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.
Atromitos is now winless for three games and will look to get back on track when they host Levadiakos over the weekend. Kerkyra remain near the relegation zone with 13 points and will travel to Athens to face Panathinaikos this weekend.
