-- Rodrigues Off to Turkey to Sign with Galatasaray --
PAOK and Galatasaray have reached a deal for Gary Rodrigues’ transfer to the Turkish club. The move is rumored to be €3.8 million.
Gary Rodrigues has packed his bags for Istanbul as Galatasaray looks to be the next stop in his career. After almost a week of negotiations, PAOK and Galatasaray have agreed to a €3.8 million deal for the 26-year old. The deal could also include a re-sale clause, rumored to be around 20% if Galatasaray are to sell Rodrigues in the future. Rodrigues is expected to leave for Turkey on Sunday (weather permitting) and sign a 4-year deal with his new club.
Rodrigues has been one of PAOK’s best players this season and the Dikefalos tou Vora will quickly look for a replacement to fill the gap left behind. The first rumors see former PAOK player, Miroslav Stoch of Fenerbahce, as a viable option to replace Rodrigues’ spot in the roster.
