-- Starting XI Debut & Goal for Tziolis --
Alexandros Tziolis scored his first goal for Hearts as he netted his side’s first of three goals against Motherwell in a 0-3 road victory.
Alexandros Tziolis wasted the first half of this season as he was a “foreign soul” at PAOK, however on the final day of the transfer window he signed with Hearts from Scotland. After making his debut during the midweek as a substitute, the Greek midfielder made his starting XI debut in today's Premiership match against Motherwell.
Tziolis debut in fashion as he scored his first goal with the new club, giving Hearts a 0-1 lead in the 59th minute. His effort from outside the penalty area took a very fortunate deflection with the ball finding the back of the net. In the final five minutes, Hearts added two goals to come away with a 0-3 victory.
Tasos Avlonitis also made his debut in Hearts’ starting XI and put on a great performance, clearing the ball off the line in the 40th minute to keep the score goalless.
