Panathinaikos came back from 0-2 down to defeat PAOK 3-2 set and celebrate their second win over the Dikefalos tou Vora this season. The win moves Panathinaikos four points clear in second place.

Panathinaikos are now the clear favorites to claim second place in the Greek Volley League regular season after defeating PAOK for the second time this year. PAOK edged out Panathinaikos in the first two sets 23-25 and 22-25 to take a commanding 0-2 lead in the match.

However, Panathinaikos turned things around after the second set as they cruised to victory in the third and fourth sets, 25-16 and 25-17, sending the game into a tiebreaker set. With the momentum on the Trifylli’s side, the hosts went up 5-1 with PAOK unable to make up the difference as they fell 15-9, losing the match 3-2 set.

Panathinaikos are now four points clear of PAOK in second place and hold the tiebreaker advantage (head-to-head) over the Thessaloniki club. Panathinaikos trail the league leaders, Olympiacos by six points with six games remaining.

PAOK fell in yet another derby this season as they have now lost to both Olympiacos and Panathinaikos in all four fixtures between the two teams.
