Levadiakos 2 - 1 PAS Giannina
Vasiliou 39'
Milhazes (p) 57'
Conde 23'

Levadiakos gave their SuperLeague survival hopes a vital shot in the arm on Sunday after pulling off a gutsy come-from-behind 2-1 home win over PAS Giannina in a tightly-contested Matchday 22 clash. The win is Levadiakos’ first in FIFTEEN outings and their first since November 27th.

The home side fell behind to a goal from PAS’s prolific Spanish forward Pedro Conde after 23 minutes, but rallied to overpower the ‘Ajax of Epirus’ thanks to a goal from Stelios Vasiliou (39) and Carlos Milhazes’ penalty three minutes before the hour mark.

It is a vital win for Levadiakos, who moved out of the relegation zone and leapfrogged Iraklis in the process. The Kobotiakos are now up to 14th spot, one place and two points clear of Iraklis who occupy the final relegation spot, while PAS remain unmoved in eighth.
