A strong second half led Panathinaikos to victory over Kolossos Rodou while Olympiacos had an easy night away to Apollon Patras.
Panathinaikos did just enough to walk away with a victory in Rodos against Kolossos, increasing their record to 18-1 in the Basket League. The hosts put up a good fight in the first half, but after the halftime break Panathinaikos took control of the game and recorded a 73-82 victory. Olympiacos dominated both ends of the court and celebrated an easy 70-87 victory on the road against Apollon Patras. Papapetrou was the leading scorer for the visitors with 15 points while Green and Birch added 13 and 12 points, respectively. Patric Young made his first appearance for the Erythrolefki since his serious injury earlier this season which will please coach Yiannis Sfairopoulos. The win keeps Olympiacos solely in first place with an 18-1 record (hold the tiebreaker advantage over Panathinaikos) and they will travel to Tel-Aviv to face Maccabi during the week in Euroleague play.
