-- Ideye Signs With Tianjin Teda --
Earlier today, Brown Ideye officially signed with his new club Tianjin Teda.
As of today, Brown Ideye is officially a player of Chinese side Tianjin Teda. The former Olympiacos striker signed a 3-year deal and his earnings are expected to reach over €10 Million (€3.5 a year) while Olympiacos will receive a transfer fee rumored to be over €10 Million. Ideye will also be teammates with his countryman, John Obi Mikel, who left Chelsea in January.
This completes a highly profitable winter transfer window for the Greek side after selling Luka Milivojevic to Crystal Palace in January in a deal that surpassed €15 Million.
Olympiacos are now left with two strikers for the rest of the season, Karim Ansarifard and Oscar Cardozo, as the club remains “alive” in three competitions, including the Greek Superleague, Greek Cup, and the Europa League.
