-- Donis Scores First Goal for Nice --
Tasos Donis scored his first goal for Nice, leading his side’s comeback over Rennes in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw.
Anastasios Donis was subbed on in the 43rd minute and scored his first goal in France for Nice with a well-placed, right footed strike in the 59th minute against Rennes. The goal brought Nice within one and proved important in the end as Nice drew level nine minutes from time to salvage a point from the match.
Donis, who is on loan from Juventus, is the first Greek to score in the French Ligue 1 since Stathis Tavlaridis found the back of the net for Lille in 2006 against Toulouse.
Nice are third in the French Ligue 1 standings with 53 points, only five points behind first placed Monaco.
