AEK’s schedule in the Europa League

UEFA has released the schedule for the upcoming Europa League group stages where AEK will compete in Group D along with AC Milan, Austria Wien, and Rijeka.

During Friday’s Europa League draw at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, AEK found out their opponents for this year’s group stages. The Kitrinomavri were handed an inviting draw which sees them paired with AC Milan, Austria Wien, and Rijeka.

Shortly after the draw, UEFA released the official schedule of the all twelve groups in the competition. AEK will first travel to Croatia to face Rijeka on September 14th before hosting Austria Wien at the OAKA stadium on matchday 2. 

A double header will follow against AC MIlan with the first game set to take place in Italy on October 19th and two weeks later, the teams will meet in Greece. AEK will host Rijka on matchday 5 and will travel to Austria for the final group match were the Enosis will hope to celebrate a place in the knockout stages of the competition.
