The Football League coaching merry-go-round is in full swing. We’re not even halfway through the season yet, but nine of the 16 competing clubs have already changed their head coach at least once! In the majority of cases, poor results and/or disagreements with the management have resulted in coaching departures, but not always. For example, ex Platanias boss Paulo Campos only decided to leave the Cretan club because of personal reasons, and not as a result of unsatisfactory showings on the pitch.

Incredibly, only Apollon Larissa (Marcello Troisi), Apollon Pontou (Dimitris Kalaitzidis), Volos NFC (Juan Ferrando), Doxa Dramas (Staikos Vergetis), Ergotelis (Nikki Papavasiliou), AOK Kerkyra (Dimitris Spanos) and Panachaiki (Sokratis Ofrydopoulos) are still with the same coach after the season began.

Here are the nine Football League clubs which have changed their managers so far, with Iraklis already on their fourth coach!
