At the Ammochostos Stadium in Larnaca, Nea Salamina hosted Apollon with the visitors starting strong and finding the back of the net just five minutes after the opening whistle. Andre Schembri received the ball in the heart of Salamina’s defense and gave a perfect assist to Anton Maglica who beat Robert Veselovsky. In the 10th minute, Salamina came close to an equalizer as Charles Eloundou’s shot was stopped by Bruno Vale, while a second effort was blocked by the Apollon defenders. Apollon found the back of the net for a second time in the 19th minute when Milan Kerbr sent the ball directly to Maglica’s head and he beat Veselovsky for a second time. Apollon comfortably held off Salamina for the remainder of the first half, taking a two goal lead into the break.

Salamina came into the second half looking to get back in the game. Theodosis Siathas came on for Thiago Santos and early on, he missed the target from two great chances for the hosts. Despite Salamina’s efforts, Apollon controlled the tempo and in the 88th minute, Fotis Papoulis put the icing on the cake as his deflected shot was too much for Veselovsky to keep out. With the win, Apollon trail the leading pack, APOEL and AEL, by five and four points respectively, with still one game in hand. Despite the defeat, Salamina are still in 5th place but with AEK and Omonoia close behind.

Matchday 15 wrapped up with Paralimni visiting Larnaca to face Ermis. The hosts started strong and Boris Kleyman had a big save on a shot from Angel Devesa in the 11th minute. Six minutes later, Sekou Keita was alone with the net but somehow managed to lose control and miss a golden opportunity to give his side the lead. Ermis were the better side in the second half as well, however they failed to find the breakthrough while Paralimni did not pose a threat on the counterattack. Ermis are still on the bottom of the table with Paralimni five points clear of them.
