Aris went three for three to start the Football League season after dispatching Kallithea 2-0 at the Kleanthis Vikelidis stadium on Sunday. The MVP of the match was Diamantopoulos who scored in either half to give the hosts the victory. Aris sit atop the standings along with Panachaiki, who remained perfect after their 2-1 victory over Ergotelis.

Panachaiki got on the board just TEN seconds after the opening whistle as Stergidis made a move behind the Ergotelis defense and cleverly lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper to give his side the 1-0 lead. However, the visitors managed to equalize with Cuypers on 25 minutes to bring things level at 1-1. The hosts had the last laugh as Moraitis netted in the 78th minute to give Panachaiki all three points and a perfect record after three games.

OFI came away with an emphatic victory over Aiginiakos, thumping their opponents 6-0 in Irakleio. The hosts took a 4-0 lead into the break thanks to goals for Papasterianos, Chanti, and two from Armiche. Chanti added his second of the day in the 75th minute before Manos’ 85th minute strike gave the Cretan club the 6-0 win. OFI sit on seven points after three matches.

Doxa Dramas dropped their first points of the season after playing to a goalless draw with Trikala. The side from Drama sit on seven points along with OFI and AOX Kissamikos, who defeated Acharnaikos 4-1. Acharnaikos are expected to withdraw from the Football League this week as the club faces a financial crisis and has been deducted 51 points for financial obligations to current and past players.

In other action, Panserraikos and Apollon Pontou shared the spoils in a 6-goal thriller which ended in a 3-3 draw. The Thessaloniki club scored two goals in the final 15 minutes (down 3-1 at the time) to salvage a point from the match and currently sit on five points after three fixtures.

Karaiskakis continued their impressive start with a 0-2 win over Veria while Sparti prevailed with the same scoreline over new-boys Apollon Larissas. Anagennisi Karditsas celebrated their first win of the season, defeating Panegialios 1-0 at home.
