Brown commented on the transfer:
“I was immediately excited when Panathinaikos got in contact with me! When Promitheas played there, I remember the atmosphere which the home fans created for Panathinaikos. It was impressive and I am very happy to join this club! I have worked hard, so I’m pleased that I will make my EuroLeague debut with such a big and historic organisation. I feel that I’m 100% ready for the next step. I like to play with energy on the court both in defence and attack.”
In the 2018/2019 season, Brown impressed for Promitheas, tallying an average of 10.80 points, 2.34 assists and 3.00 rebounds in the Basket League.
