Anorthosis reclaimed top spot in the standings after an emphatic 5-1 home win over Olympiacos Nicosia. The home side dominated the game and opened the scoring with Douglao in the 35th minute before Rayos doubled Anorthosis’ lead early in the second half. Olympiacos answered with Torres in the 68th minute, but a hat-trick from Camara sealed Anorthosis’ victory.

Doxa prevailed in a six-goal thriller to defeat Ethnikos Achnas 4-2 at home. The visitors opened the scoring with Hristov in the 28th minute and Doxa responded to take the lead with two goals from Zatl and Sadik just six minutes into the second half. Papageorgiou equalised for Ethnikos in the 71st minute, but five minutes later, Doxa re-claimed the advantage with Mouktaris before Sadik’s goal locked in the three points for the hosts.

Aris managed to hold Omonoia to a 2-2 draw in Limassol. Omonoia got off to a strong start and Derbyshire’s spot kick gave the visitors the lead in the 36th minute. The lead was short lived as Fragkos equalized three minutes later for Aris. The same man struck again in the 51st minute to give the home side the lead, but Margaca’s 69th minute header salvaged a point for the Nicosia side.

Salamina and Ermis shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Salamina were the better side in the first half, however Arampatzis denied Makriev’s penalty kick in the biggest chance of the first half. Makriev, though, found the back of the net early in the second half, but Pacheco’s free-kick denied the three points to Salamina as the teams grabbed a point from their matchday 11 fixture.

APOEL put together a great performance with a 4-0 thrashing of third placed Pafos at the GSP stadium. In a fairly attacking minded game, APOEL began to take control of the possession and as a result, Pote opened the scoring in the 37th minute. The African striker failed to beat Koprivec from the spot, however his rebounded effort gave APOEL the lead. Pote struck again on 55 minutes with a header, giving the hosts a solid and comfortable 2-0 lead. Makris scored a double late on to put the game out of reach as APOEL celebrated all three points (and a good performance) against this year’s surprise team in the league.

AEL had little trouble against Alki in Limassol as the hosts marched on to a 3-0 victory. Lafrance gave the home side an early lead in what was one way traffic in the opening 45 minutes. AEL’s Arruabarrena managed to convert in the 77th minute to put the game out of reach before Sassi’s stoppage time goal formed the final 3-0 scoreline for the Limassol side.
AEK and Apollon matched up in the weekend’s derby at the AEK Arena. Apollon started off the stronger side and it was Maglica who put the Limassol club in front on 20s minutes. AEK improved in the second half and looked to find an equalizing goal as Apollon’s fatigue from their midweek encounter in the Europa League was evident. AEK’s pressure paid off in the 82nd minute thanks to Trickovski’s goal, salvaging a point for the hosts in a 1-1 draw.
