Both OFI and Aris dropped points over the weekend while Panachaiki were victorious in Larissa. The fight to avoid the drop is heating up after Ergotelis, Aiginiakos, Anagennisi Karditsas, and Panegialios recorded wins over the weekend.

AOX Kissamikos equalized in the final minute of second half stoppage time to deny OFI the three points in their matchday 27 matchup. The League leaders pulled ahead in the 67th minute through Dinas and were forced to play with a man down in the 76th minute when Koutsianikoulis was sent off with a second yellow card. The hosts took full advantage of the extra man as Xydas equalized for the hosts in the final minute of stoppage time to salvage a point for the Chania based side. OFI remain in first place with a one point advantage over Aris while AOX Kissamikos sit in fourth with 50 points. 

Aris were unable to surpass OFI in the standings as the Thessalonikis remained goalless against their city rivals, Apollon Pontou. The result leaves Aris in second place, one point behind OFI, while Apollon Pontou sit tied with Doxa Dramas for sixth with 44 points.

Panachaiki continue to sit in third place after defeating Apollon Larissas 0:1 on the road. Kynigopoulos scored the only goal of the game with just eight minutes remaining in the match to move Panachaiki up to 54 points. The Patra side trail second placed Aris by ten points and lead fourth placed AOX Kissamikos by four points. 

In the fight to avoid the drop, Ergotelis, Aiginiakos, Panegialios, and Anagennisi Karditsas each recorded wins over the weekend. Ergotelis cruised past Karaiskakis 4:1 with an in-form Cuypers netting two goals for the hosts. Aiginiakos grabbed a much needed three points against Sparti with a 2:0 scoreline while relegation bound Panegialios took down seventh placed Doxa Dramas thanks to Stamatis’ 65th minute penalty (1:0). In a relegation six pointer, Papaefthimiou’s 54th minute goal proved decisive as Anagennisi Karditsas dispatched Panserraikos with a 1:0 scoreline at home.  

After the weekend results, Anagennisi Karditsas and Ergotelis sit in the safety zone with 34 and 33 points, respectively. Aiginiakos claim 13th place with 32 points while Panserraikos sit back on 28 points. Panegialios will need a late push and some results to go their way in the final matches as they sit in 15th with 24 points. 

Kallithea and Trikala were awarded the three points against Acharnaiko and Veria, who have withdrawn from the league.
