The two fixtures will take place one day earlier than previously scheduled due security reasons as games 1 and 2 between Panathinaikos and Real Madrid in the Euroleague playoffs are scheduled for Tuesday, April 17th and Thursday, April 19th. The two basketball matches will take place at the OAKA Indoor Olympic Hall in Athens.
AEK were originally set to take on AE Larissa at the OAKA Olympic Stadium on Thursday, April 19th, however due to the concurrent Panathinaikos/Real Madrid basketball match (game 2), the EPO decided to reschedule the Greek Cup fixture for one day earlier on Wednesday, April 18th. The 19:30 GR (12:30 EST) kick-off time will remain the same.
As a result, PAOK’s return leg against Panionios was also moved up by one day and will now take place on Tuesday, April 17th in Thessaloniki. Kick-off has been moved up by 30 minutes and is now scheduled for 19:00 GR (12:00 EST).
A reminder, PAOK defeated panionios in Nea Smyrnis 1:3 in the first leg while AE Larissa upsetted AEK 2:1 at the AEL FC Arena.
