Giannis tips in game-winner as Bucks even series
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s game-winner in the dying seconds of game four saw the Milwaukee Bucks even their playoff series with Boston at 2-2…
The Milwaukee Bucks have evened-up their playoff series with the Boston Celtics following a nail-biting 104-102 win at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Sunday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s tip-in with five seconds left in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference between the two sides as Milwaukee let a 20-point lead slip in the second half.
Antetokounmpo notched 27 points and 7 rebounds to lead his team in scoring as the Greek Freak enjoyed a remarkable 60-percent shooting performance after going 12/20 on shooting from the field.
Boston’s Jaylen Brown led all scorers on the night with 34 points as he led Boston’s comeback effort in the second half.
After losing the first two games of the series in Boston, Milwaukee has now guaranteed the series will require a sixth game though the Bucks will be keen to take a stranglehold of the series when game five of the series tips-off at the TD Garden in Boston on Tuesday.
In order for Milwaukee to assume their first lead of the series, the Bucks will need to end a four-game losing streak in road playoff games which dates back to last season’s first round loss to the Toronto Raptors.
