Greeks Abroad Review: Goals Galore For Greeks Abroad
AGONAsport’s George Tsitsonis rounds up the performances of Greeks playing in other leagues in this week’s Greeks Abroad Review.
It was a weekend full of top-notch performances and many goals and assists for Greek players plying their trade abroad. Kostas Mitroglou netted his first goal in a Marseille shirt, snagging a point away for his side. His fellow attacker with the National Team, Tasos Donis, also opened his account in German with his first goal for VfB Stuttgart.
Elsewhere, Tasos Karamanos and Giannis Skondras scored goals in Portugal and Scotland respectively. Panagiotis Retsos notched his first assist in the Bundesliga while Dimitris Siovas also laid an assist off for Leganes’ first goal. In the Dutch Eredivisie, Kostas Tsimikas assisted in Willem II’s victory.
