Volos NFC were held to a goalless draw on the road against Platanias while Kerkyra, AOX Kissamikos, and Irodotos recorded wins in Saturday’s Football League action.

Leaders Volos NFC went winless for a third consecutive road fixture after playing to a goalless draw in Chania against Platanias. The visitors played with ten men from the 67th minute once Dedakis was sent off with a straight red card. The result moves Volos nine points clear of second placed Apollon Larissa, who play on Sunday, while Platanias are tied for fifth with Kerkyra on 37 points.
Kerkyra recorded a very important 2:1 victory over Ergotelis to move into fifth place with Platanias. Ergotelis struck first as Efford opened the scoring in first minute of play, but Mota equalized for the hosts in the 32nd minute. Siatravanis completed the comeback seven minutes after the restart to give Kerkyra a valuable three points. The result sees Ergotelis drop to seventh (along with AOX Kissamikos) on 34 points.
In other action, AOX Kissamikos thumped doomed Aiginiakos 0:4 on the road with two goals in either half while Irodotos defeated Trikala 1:0 at home (50’ Argilesi). The result moves the Cretan club level on 25 points with Trikala in 12th place.
Sparti were awarded all three points against Aittitos Spaton, who were removed from the Football League on Friday.
