Kerkyra recorded their fourth consecutive victory on Sunday, downing Aiginiakos 1:0 at home. The only goal of the match came 16 minutes from the end as Kontos successfully converted a spot kick to give the hosts a valuable three points. The hosts were left with ten men in first half stoppage time after Koutzavasilis was shown a red card, however, Aiginiakos lost the man advantage when Tsolakidis saw a second yellow card in the 60th minute. The win moves Kerkyra up to 29 points, just three behind current league leaders Volos NFC, who lost on Saturday to Iraklis. Aiginiakos sit bottom of the table with just nine pints.

AE Karaiskakis were winners on Sunday as they defeated Ergotelis 1:0 at home. Tzioras’ 35th minute penalty separated the sides at the final whistle as AE Karaiskakis moved into 10th place with 17 points. Ergotelis dropped down to sixth with 20 points.

In other action, struggling Sparti fell on the road to Apollon Pontou 1:0 while Doxa Dramas prevailed with the same scoreline at home to AOX Kissamikos. Relegation bound Aittitos Spaton and Trikala played to a 1:1 draw, a result that benefits neither side as they hope to avoid the drop.
