Despite a 0-1 loss to Anagennisi Karditsas (their first home defeat of the season), it was a celebratory mood in Lamia as the local side celebrated their great season and promotion to the Superleague with their home fans. The “Fiesta” saw the players lift the trophy which signifies promotion to next year’s Greek Superleague. It will be the club’s first appearance in Greece’s top flight.
Aris, who concluded their disappointing season, came back to defeat Sparti 2-1 while OFI and Agrotikos Asteras demolished Aiginiakos (6-1) and relegated Panelefsiniakos (0-6), respectively.
In Chania, the local side played with TWO goalkeepers in the starting eleven as few players were in the roster for today’s game against Kallithea, which saw the visitors win 1-3. In other action, Kissamikos defeated Acharnaikos 0-1 and Trikala defeated Panegialios 1-0.
