Markovic and Camara signings to be announced on Tuesday
Olympiacos are expected to announce two more signings on Tuesday with Svetozar Markovic and Fode Camara.
Olympiacos are close to completing two more signings this offseason as Svetozar Markovic and Fode Camara are expected to sign with the Erythrolefki on Tuesday. Both players are in Athens to finalize their deal.
Markovic, who is on the books at Partizan, has already agreed to terms with the Erythrolefki and reports mention that he has already signed his new deal after successfully completing the necessary medical tests. An official announcement by the club is expected on Tuesday.
The Piraeus side will pay the Serbian club a reported 1.5 million euros to acquire the 19-year-old defender. Markovic holds both a Serbian and Bosnian passport and made 33 appearances last season with Partizan while scoring three goals. The youngster is expected to sign a four-year deal with annual earnings of 200,000 euros.
Another young prospect, Fode Camara, is also on the verge of joining Olympiacos this summer. The Guinea international recently finished his responsibilities at the Africa Cup of Nations and traveled to Greece to finalize his deal with the Reds. The two sides have already agreed to terms and the 21-year-old will undergo the necessary medical tests before signing his new contract.
The young left-back is on the books at Ajaccio in the French second division and had a successful 2018/19 season with 36 appearances across all competitions and three assists.
